Television Association (ITVA)
El
Mundo Entertainment was founded by Rick Cuellar who relocated back
to Texas to pursue his vision of creating an industry in his home
state. Since
2000 he has been working on solving the puzzle of building a year
round entertainment industry in Texas to actively advance the work
of risk-taking storytellers worldwide who have challenges into entry
into the established television studios as they exist today.
Under
El
Mundo Entertainment he founded
the Internet Television Association (ITVA) to use as a tool to build
momentum in establishing a year round video production industry which will create jobs
and lifetime careers in scripted
and unscripted video production in a new market.
Through
the establishment of the itv association, El Mundo Entertainment is
developing strategies for independent artists to explore their stories
free from commercial and political pressures.
ITVA
is launching the itva internet television pilot
festival, in 2011 as an annual event that will be in search of
discovering original concepts with mass appeal which can be produced
year round for internet and television distribution.
